Marianna Stepniak
Communications Consultant
As Communications Consultant, Marianna supports the development and design of resources for superintendents and assists Project Manager with key initiatives for the Collaborative.
Marianna’s career in education began as an AmeriCorps member with City Year, working in a 2nd/3rd grade classroom in Sacramento, CA. She went on to earn her Masters before joining MAEC, a nonprofit focused on advancing education equity. As Content Specialist with MAEC, she authored publications on mental wellness and Title IX, provided technical assistance on developing safe school environments, and expanded social media engagement. She later served as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Trondheim, Norway, before returning to MAEC as a Program & Content Specialist.
Marianna holds an Ed.M in Education Policy & Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and her BA in English and Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies from the College of William & Mary.
